Yesterday’s Summary and Updates
The following incidents were covered on the NCST News Network FB Page over the last three days.
Coweta County Coroner’s Office is asking the public for help locating next of kin.
The Coweta County Coroner’s Office is asking for help locating relatives of Stanley Dean Arnold, 65, who was found deceased outside of his home at 248 Greenville St on October 12th. Authorities believe he died of natural causes.
They are asking that any relatives of Mr. Arnold come forward and that anyone with information regarding possible relatives contact their office at 770-683-0444 or 678-877-2678.
Serious Accident on Newnan Crossing Bypass leads to Life Flight response.
Just before 11 AM E911 started receiving calls regarding an accident on Newnan Crossing Bypass just south of Bullsboro Dr / Highway 34 East. Callers reported that a black car had struck a grey SUV and that the SUV was now on its side.
Units with the Newnan Police Department and Newnan Fire Department arrived on the scene and began extracting the driver, an elderly woman, from the vehicle. EMS requested that Life Flight respond with a landing zone of the bypass. NPD shut the bypass down and Air Evac Lifeteam 153 based in Fayette Co responded to the scene. The patient was transported to an Atlanta hospital. No update is known on their current condition. The driver of the black vehicle was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
